We are excited for you to join us in our upcoming clinic! We can’t wait to share essential breathing techniques designed specifically to help enhance your overall performance, enabling you to stay calm and focused while in the saddle. Additionally, we will cover vital falling techniques that will empower you to confidently navigate unexpected situations with grace and poise. Our clinic also includes equestrian-specific flexibility and conditioning techniques aimed at building resilience, strength, balance, and adaptability in your riding. By integrating these effective methods into your practice, you'll become a more versatile and capable rider in every aspect. We can't wait to see you there and support your progress!

General Details:
Location: Nautica Equestrian Centre (331 Forced Road, Russell, Ontario)
Date: Friday, May 9th
Time: 17h00-19h00 (5:00pm-7:00pm). Please arrive early to walk to clinic ring, get set-up and ready to begin right at 10:00am!
Capacity Limitations: Spots are limited to 30 people
Minimum Number of Participants to Run This Event: 10 people
Cost: $40.00 +HST
Waivers: Must be signed before the event!
Rain Date: Friday, May 16th; @17h00-19h00 (5:00pm-7:00pm)

What to Wear:
comfortable clothing that you feel free to move around in
well fitted, safe, walking shoes
layers as there will be times when we are still and other times where we will be moving around.
weather appropriate accessories (hat, sunglasses, etc.)
What to Bring:
yoga mat if you have one (we will have a few mats available as well)
water and snack
a change of clothes for after the event (we may get a bit sandy)
if desired:
small towel to wipe your feet on
camera and/or notebook
bug spray and/or sunscreen
Parking: There is lots of free street parking along the road.
Age Range:
At Aurora Life Sports, we embrace the beautiful diversity of our community. Each individual brings their unique strengths and perspectives, enriching our shared experiences. Our clinic is designed for those who can concentrate and actively participate for a duration of 2 hours. For participants under the age of 10, we encourage the presence of a parent, caretaker, or guardian to provide supervision and support. This ensures a safe, respectful, and engaging environment where everyone can thrive. Join us in celebrating the varied paths of learning and growth, and discover the benefits of movement in a welcoming space.
Physical Prerequisites:
Must be able to sit comfortably on, and get up from the ground.
No current or history of back, shoulder, neck, hip, ankle, or any other injuries.
Nautica Equestrian Center is an outdoor working farm therefore the ground is naturally uneven and there are tree roots, culverts, gravel passthroughs etc. that would normally be expected in such an environment. Please ensure you are comfortable in this type of setting.
Nautica Equestrian Center is also a fully functioning equestrian farm. Therefore there are horses in the paddocks, and we will be working on the ground and surrounded by gorgeous wildflowers, trees, grasses, dogs, horses, goats, pigs etc. Please ensure you are comfortable being physically active in and around animals, pollen, flowers, grasses, scents etc. (e.g. allergies).
Cancellation Policy:
Since this is an outdoor event, we will revert to our selected rain date (Friday, May 16; @17h00-19h00 (5:00pm-7:00pm) if:
Environment Canada issues either a special weather statement, watch, or warning for the area 24 hours in advance of the event date
an unfortunate unforeseen situation arises (e.g. fire, fallen trees, etc.)
The minimum number of registrants hasn’t been reached 75 hours in advance of the event date
In the unlikely event that the rain date also gets cancelled, all participants will receive a full refund.
