Starting on Tuesday, January 7th, and ending on Thursday, June 19th (24 weeks), we will be offering the six classes outlined below at the North Augusta Community Hall!

Tuesdays

Senior Chair Yoga and Meditation

Designed to meet the distinctive needs of seniors, this class merges chair yoga, strength exercises, and meditation into a comprehensive session that enhances balance, posture, and general wellness.

  • Dates: Tuesdays from Jan. 7th to Jun. 17th

  • Time: 16h15-17h15 (4:15pm-5:15pm)

  • Tone: Calm empowerment 

  • Goal: Improve overall balance, posture, and wellness

  • Level: All levels

Yoga Conditioning

Transform your body and improve your overall fitness with our invigorating Yoga Conditioning classes. We will guide you through a dynamic series of poses designed to enhance your flexibility, core strength, balance, and endurance. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, you’ll find the perfect challenge in our welcoming and supportive community.

  • Goal: Improve overall strength, balance, and endurance

Adult Self-Defensive Fitness and Flexibility Training

This class offers a dynamic combination of empowering workouts, providing adults with the opportunity to learn basic self-defense techniques, enhance their fitness, boost their flexibility, and feel a sense of fulfillment through a challenging yet rewarding experience (12yrs+).

Train With Us: Body Reset

Discover the gentle transformative power of this dynamic class which combines yin-inspired stretching techniques with targeted fascia, tendon, and ligament work, as well as meditation, to enhance your mobility, improve muscle function, and promote overall well-being. Join us as we guide you towards achieving your physical goals and finding balance in your body and mind.

  • Dates: Thursdays from Jan. 9th to Jun. 19th

  • Tone: Calm and Relaxing

  • Goal: Relax, rejuvenate and improve range of motion

  • Level: Beginner to Advanced

Youth Mindfulness, Street Smarts, and Fitness

This class is designed to empower young individuals (5-12 years old) by enhancing physical fitness, teaching street smart skills, and fostering mindfulness. The class includes a systematic warm-up, instruction in street smart techniques, followed by a soothing cooldown session, all aimed at boosting confidence, concentration, and the general wellness of it’s young attendees.

  • Tone: Confident, explorative fun

  • Goal: Build confidence, concentration and overall wellness

Partner Yoga

Partner Yoga creates a supportive atmosphere for partners, friends and/or teammates to enrich their yoga journey together. Cultivate both emotional and physical bonds while taking your physical practice to a whole new level. Participants will explore various postures and supportive techniques that enhance communication, trust, and fortifies relationships.

  • Dates: Thursdays from Jan. 9th to Jun. 19th

  • Time: 20h00-21h00 (8:00pm-9:00pm)

  • Instructor: Laura and Chris Deimling

  • Tone: Confident, explorative fun

  • Goal: Enhanced yoga journey, communication, and trust

  • Level: All levels

Package Options

This package includes access to 10 regularly scheduled classes (CAN$11.50+HST/class).

This package includes access to 25 regularly scheduled classes (CAN$9+HST/class).

This package includes access to 50 regularly scheduled classes (CAN$7+HST/class).

This package includes access to 1 regularly scheduled class for $20 total.

This package includes access to 1 regularly scheduled class for $15 total.

This package includes free access to 1 regularly scheduled class for first time participants.

Note: Not applicable for workshops and/or events.

NOTES:

  1. Packages can be shared with up to 5 family members that live within your household.

  2. If you prefer to pay by e-transfer or cash, please email laura@auroralifesports.com and we’ll help you out.

  3. We may take a one week break at some point during this session (TBD).

  4. All packages expire on June 19th, 2025

Reserve Your Spot

  1. Navigate to the date and class that you would like to attend and reserve your spot (15 people/class max)!

  2. If you get a note saying “Class Not Scheduled: There are no dates scheduled for the selected class and instructor”, just click “OK” and go to the correct date.

  3. NOTE: As space is limited, priority will go to those that have reserved a spot first. If you have any difficulties reserving your spot, please reach out to us and we will help fix it for you!

What to Wear:

  1. comfortable clothing that you feel free to move around it

  2. layers as we will be warming up and cooling down

What to Bring:

  1. yoga mat, blocks, bolsters, and bands if you have them (we will have some available as well)

  2. water

  3. if desired:

    1. small towel to wipe your feet on

    2. notebook and pen

    3. snack

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Should more than 3 unfortunate unforeseen situations arise (e.g. fire, fallen trees, community hall project, family emergency etc.) that result in a cancellation, we will do our very best to make up the day. If we are unable to make-up the day, class credits will be provided that can be used towards future classes of similar value.

  2. Due to limited space, if you have reserved a spot, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill your spot. If you have to cancel your class, your account will be credited (no refunds). You may use these credits towards a future class of similar value. However, if cancellations are received after the 48 hours, a credit won't be applied.

  3. All package sales are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Physical Prerequisites:

  1. Must be able to sit comfortably on, and get up from the ground.
